Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology, Health Technology Development Management and Industry Liaison Office of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with Metacell Health Accelerator, organized a “medical” idea generation and entrepreneurship event on three topics: stem cells, sleep and digital health.

The registration deadline for this event was until February 20. The initial evaluation of the ideas was held on March 23, 2020. The event was scheduled to be held from Tuesday to Thursday, March 26 to March 29, but unfortunately it was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in the country and on May 2 and 3. 2020 was held virtually.

About 70 ideas were received during the event registration period. After the initial evaluation, 16 ideas were selected to participate in the event.

After two days of training and virtual competition, the final judging of the ideas was held virtually. The top teams were selected. The prizes of the top teams are 10 million Rials cash prize and the possibility of settling in a growth center or accelerator.
